unfortunately my finances don't allow me to do things for the hell of it. Skating aint cheap over here, a decent deck wont come less that £40 (which is like US$70, right?) but most are £50-£60, american and canadian brands usually being more expensive because they're imported, which in one way is good, as it encourages people to buy british brands, but at the same time, it does limit choice somewhat.
haha, it's alright some, ey. I never actually managed to break a deck, but a couple began to split at the bolts. But yeah, skating is a bit of an investment over here, definately need your mum to buy you your first decent set up. I'd like to get back into skating, but I'd much rather get a long board than another skateboard, I think I'm pretty over that now.
